Great holiday hostess gifts you can make!

Churrisimos

1 / 4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon Russian Mulling Spice
1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
1 / 4 cup maple sugar

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees C.

2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside. Mix the sugar with the Russian Mulling Spice in a small bowl and set aside.

3. Sprinkle some of the Russian Mulling / sugar mix on the work surface and place dough in a still, single layer on top.

4. Brush the doughslightly with water and sprinkle generously with the Russian Mulling / sugar. Turn the dough and repeat other side.

5. Cut the dough into 1 / 2 to 3/4-inch wide strips. Put in baking pan, twist the ends of each strip so that it looks like a corkscrew.

6. Bake until puffed and golden, 20 minutes and let cool.

7. Maple Sugar Blend 1 / 3 cup Cool Whip is a wonderful dive.

Sweet and spicy mustardDip

Serve with pretzels, sausage or chicken fingers at a party, or give as a gift tins!

1 1 / 2 cups honey
1 cup of rosemary, garlic and pepper vinegar
3 eggs
2 (1 3 / 4 oz) containers of ground mustard
1 / 2 teaspoon salt

pretzels, baked chicken tenders or sausage, sliced

1. In a blender, combine first five ingredients, cover and process until blended.

2. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook over low heat and stir until it thickens and reaches 160degrees.

3. Pour into jars. Cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week. Put the fancy labels or decorative ribbon to the plate to let your guests know what ingredients are in and around a unique touch!
