Vinegar and baking soda Science

Have you ever thought about using vinegar and baking soda to cure your case of boredom? There is not much worse than staying around the house with nothing to do. There are many tricks and experiments that can only be done with vinegar and baking soda. Then, take the ingredients and give this experiment a try!

First, to understand why the vinegar and baking soda together to make a big one. Vinegar is made up of about 5% acetic acid (CH3COOH).> Baking soda (NaHCO3 sodium bicarbonate) is a basis. When the two are mixed, a neutralization reaction occurs between the two that carbon dioxide (CO2).

Now, let's see what we can do for fun. First, blow up a balloon without blowing. Take a pop bottle and put some 'of vinegar in the bottom. Attach a balloon that has been halved by the war to fill with baking soda on top of the bottle. Now, lift the balloon so that the contents of the bottle to come in and lookinflate the balloon with CO2! This works better if you stretch the balloon a bit 'before using it.

Everyone loves an explosion, so lets see what we can do. Take a piece of blotting paper, and place some baking soda on. Fold the paper towel so that the sodium is completely hidden. Take a plastic bag, and put about 1 / 2 cup vinegar and 1 / 4 cup of hot water. Zip bag half way and let the paper towel in the bag. QUICK zipper bagrest of the way and pull back. Make sure you do it quickly to get the best result.

The most popular use of baking soda and vinegar volcano is a classic science fair project. The structure of the volcano can be done in many ways. I just want to explain essential element, spitting lava! The interior of the volcano must be made with an open container (2 liter bottle works great). The volcano is built around the bottle. Place a spoon. soap and a tablespoon of baking sodain the bottle. If you prefer, you can delete a red dye for effect. When you are ready to burst, add a quarter cup of vinegar to the bottle.

These are just some ideas, if your imagination allows you to find fun things to do unlimited. When you sit around with nothing to do, be creative and to explore science.
